Our signature treatments also include the application of nourishing organic oils and serums.

Q: What should I expect?
A: Our custom scalp experiences typically involve using our high magnification scalp analysis tool to determine overall health of your hair and scalp so that we can create a customized treatment for your specific needs. Next we do a relaxing scalp massage while you are still seated in the salon chair using Hui Hui Essentials organic hair oils. We love them and they smell divine! Then we bring you over to the shampoo area and start with a thorough cleansing and another scalp massage, exfoliation (if we deem it safe) of the scalp, aimed at promoting circulation, relieving tension and improving the health of the hair and scalp. Next is our favorite part; scalp steam and Reiki experience. This part offers next level relaxation! Depending on which treatment journey you choose, we then follow up with customized hair tea and deep moisturizing treatment for your hair as well as light therapy.
Q: Do you service all types of scalp issues?
A: At A&M we see all types of scalp issues and we do our best, under our scope of expertise, to assist most people. If a client has any open wounds or a type of severe issue we may not be able to serve them and instead refer them to a functional medicine doctor. We CANNOT treat anyone with lice as it puts our other clients at risk. We can however recommend the best at home treatment for these cases.
Q: What should I wear?
A: No need to dress up to come to A&M. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to sit back, relax and enjoy being pampered.
Q: How will I feel after?
A: Most people report feeling very relaxed and peaceful after. These treatments have an energetic component to them and can help support emotional balance as well as hair and scalp health. Regular treatments can really have a profound positive impact on your wellbeing.
Q: How often should I come in?
A: For optimum results, we recommend a scalp treatment every 4-8 weeks depending on your unique scalp needs. Scalp facials have so many benefits which include stress reduction so we can’t emphasize enough the importance of an intentional scalp routine both in salon and at home.
Q: Does A&M take credit cards?
A: Yes. We are equipped with a Square credit card reader for your convenience.
Q: Does A&M accept cash transactions?
A: Yes, we accepts cash however, we do not normally have the ability to make change so exact cash is greatly appreciated.
Q: Does A&M have a cancellation policy?
A: Yes. Ascension & Mane requires a 24 hour cancellation notice. The first missed appointment will result in 50% charge of the service reserved. The second missed appointment will result in 100% charge of the missed appointment. Fees must be paid before booking your next appointment.
